There are no other words except: I LOVE IT!!!!

Jakey

Haley

Since I've been back home I gotten to spend so much time with my nieces and nephews and I have gotten to know them better, and I love it!! They are so sweet happy and loving! They are everything an aunt could ask for. My piano skills are somewhat less than average but none of that matters when all they care about is the fact that I can play the one song that, to quote Haley "all of Grandmother's children dance to" They love to love and love to be loved. This arrangement works very well for me because who couldn't love them? (and to get love in return is a definite plus) So I am working on getting more pictures of the loves of my life, but here is what I have so far. Taylor. . . I miss you, you should walk on over this way sometime soon. Take care of your parents for me.

For Erika :D

I was on the phone with Erika the other day and she mentioned that I hadn't posted in a VERY long time, and that because we live so far away she would like to know what is going on in my life. I ended the conversation with a noncommittal "okay, I'll do a post sometime in the near future-ish" while not satisfied, Erika accepted this attempt at a compromise. Because she is so committed to her blog I figure the least I can do is to dedicate a post to her and follow in her footsteps :) So Erika, here is to you for bringing me back to the world of blogger

Alright. . . . let's see who is still out there!!  I am determined to stay more updated in my posts. For starters, let's catch up! I am back in Alabama at Samford University awaiting the arrival of my acceptance (or rejection) from the Ida Moffit Nursing school at Samford. Since I have been home I have been able to be a part of so much! In March Julie called me and asked if I would be interested in helping serve lunch and dinner to Gladys Knight and her choir when they came for a fireside. . . yes I met Gladys Knight!!! While she didn't sing midnight train to Georgia, her choir was incredible, She and the choir are not allowed to take pictures so my proof of this interaction is poorly documented. I also got to go and see Wicked when it came to town and I am proud to say I loved just as much this time as the first time when I saw it four years ago. To top all of these fun things off, Elder L. Tom Perry came to town for a stake meeting and Mom and Aunt Anne, headed up a crew to feed him lunch, and I got to be a part of it. Well that is all for now but i'll be back with some pictures.

The Truth! ;D

So maybe my previous posts have been a little deceiving. My apartment is more often than not a total wreck, however, i am not to blame i am rarely there. I just felt a little guilty when looking at the early days of my blog, so i had to set it right. Yesterday I did three loads of dishes and with in four hours I had two more. But I love my apartment messy quirks and all.

Happy Halloween!

Thomas S. Monson
Joseph Smith Jr.
The Savior
These were in the Taylor Building, I thought they were amazing!!!
Amber and Me, we were both cowgirls.
(L to R) Me, Emily, and Susan

I had so much fun halloween night. I got to go to the Halloween Concert with Sara, Emily, and Megan! The theme was Pirates of the Caribbean and Pirates of Penzance. The Orchestra played songs from Pirates of the Caribbean and the Men's Choir sang excerpts from Pirates of Penzance. It was very impressive. After the concert we went back to 107 for games and candy. It was perfect.

Only in Rexburg

A couple of weeks ago I got to go to the visitor's center in Idaho Falls and watch the Joseph Smith movie with some of my friends, it was a lot of fun. As we are driving (Emily was driving) we see red and blue lights flashing behind us. Emily pulls over so that they could pass us; we knew we hadn't done anything wrong. To our surprise he pulled up right behind us came to the window and informed us that our headlight was out. I didn't know if I could be ticket for that so I threw on my southern accent and began apologizing. He asked if my dad was in the military (he saw the USAA insurance) I am pretty sure it only helped me, thanks Grandpa :) He asked what we had been doing that night. I told of our wonderfully peaceful evening and hoped he was mormon and think "wow what great kids, I'll let them go" sure enough he said "make sure to get one of your F.H.E. brothers to fix that for you" Only in Rexburg. . . .and maybe Provo

General Conference!

General Conference Weekend was a blast! Let's start from the beginning. Before we went off to college, Chris asked if I wanted to go to a couple of sessions of Conference. (Thanks Brother Dean) I thought "hm that'd be fun, sure" So we got two other girls that were going to Salt Lake and split the gas four ways, now all that was missing was . . . . my license!!! So Chris drove us all to Utah and back and I was co-pilot :) Catherine and Richard were so nice to let me stay with them. The past couple of times I stayed with them they have taught me to love telemundo. . . but we'll save that for another post. I got to see Erika, Danny and Kenny as well. Saturday night Erika came with me to drop off Chris and Kenny in Sandy so they could take the Tracks to the Conference Center for Priesthood Session. After Sunday Morning Session and Orange Rolls Chris and I headed to The Sunday Afternoon Session at the Conference Center! The session was awesome and the choir was unreal. I am so grateful to have had that opportunity!
